The University of Manchester was mid-overhaul
of its website when I joined May 2005. I felt that the development
of a website for the "Centre for Interdisiciplinary Research
in the Arts" (CIDRA) was key to the work that we are
doing in promoting interdisciplinary research.
The site was deliberately designed
to remain small, to ensure that the information can be regularly
updated (particularly the number of events we are involved in).
The design is that specified by the University corporate identity,
but the structure and information are carefully planned for
easy access to the information.
